Compression ring DAC308 creates an airtight seal between the cylinder and piston, and helps facilitate heat transfer between the piston and cylinder wall.
Unplug the air compressor and bleed air from the tank before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
Please Note: Do not apply any type of lubrication to the new Piston Ring or Cylinder Sleeve. This oil less (oil free) piston ring has a special coating and does not require lubrication. The application of any type of lubrication will adversely affect the life of your new replacement piston ring.
