The toy gorilla warfare rifle has Mattel Hawthorne calif. You. S. A. Mcmlx, which is Roman numerals for 1960.  The cap mechanism area is clean and the swivel hinge is complete and fits tightly, the Tommy burst mechanism works quite well, the original strap is in place, and the very delicate site on the front as well as the raiseable sight on the back are both still in place and an excellent original unbroken condition.
